Welcome to Lakeland Pony Trekking

Situated at Limefitt Caravan Park near Lake Windermere, Lakeland Pony Trekking has direct access to the tracks and bridleways of the delightful Troutbeck Valley and magnificent high fells.

We offer a variety of treks, day rides and trail rides, all fully supervised, and all with outstanding views of the heart of the Lake District. From half hour rides for small children to full day trail rides, we cater for all ages and all levels of experience.

We pride ourselves on the quality of our much loved horses and ponies, which include top quality Irish and Welsh cobs, Irish hunters, native Cumbrian fell ponies as well as small cuddly ponies for the children!

Accommodation at Limefitt Park

Enjoy a tailor-made riding holiday with Lakeland Pony Trekking whilst staying at Limefitt Caravan Park. Pitches are available for tents, touring caravans, family caravans, and campers. Luxury static caravans and wooden lodges are also available for holiday rental.

Facilities on site include: Restaurant, bar, shop, laundry room, camper's kitchen and sanitary blocks.
